Fragile Hood
So it snowed today and while brushing the snow off of the hood, part of it kept on sounding like it was indenting and it was really easy to push in, but it bumped right back out. It's perfect and there are no dents or anything while looking at it from any angle, it's just pushes in when the slightest weight is on it from snow or just by touching it. Is this normal?
Also, I was driving to D.C. and randomly it seemed like air was going into the grill and pushing the hood up. I slowed down and it stopped and it never happened again. Weird. I felt like it was just going to pop up.
I don't get it. I can freakin' jump on the hood of my friend's YJ no problem.

I think the hood is one of the thinnest peices of crap I have seen. The hood latches have been the topic of many threads, if you search for hood flutter you will see some off the options for fixing the problem.
The hood is thin, yes. The hood lifting has been covered a lot as mentioned before. They make replacement latches that keep it from doing that. Basically it's the latches stretching that is allowing it to raise so much. Air gets in from the space between the hood and the body/grill.
