Freedom Edition
Just purchased a13 Freedom Edition JKU. It came with Trailer Tow 1. Do they upgrade
the suspension? Is it a standard sport suspension or heavy duty? Thanx in advance.

Only thing that would be different is stiffer coils. Crawl under and look at the white tags attached to your coil springs. Last 2 numbers are the spring rates. Fronts are 14-19, rears are 56-60. Higher the numbers the stiffer the coil.
I also have a recently purchased '13 Freedom Edition JKU. I installed a 3" BDS lift a week after purchase. The stock springs on mine were 18/59, one step down from the stiffest/tallest springs. I hope this answers your question.
Freedom Editions are based on the Sport, and they come with the standard Sport suspension which is "normal duty" shocks.
Sahara's get the "Heavy Duty" suspension (thicker and longer shocks than the Sports).
Rubi's get the "Perforance" suspension (slightly longer than the Sahara shocks...and bright red).
Spring rate is something different....and can be close to random at times. Usually, ordering a 4 door with a hard top will give you stiffer springs. The tow package seems to not matter. I have a 2013 4 door Sahara, and I ordered it without the tow package. I got 16's upfront...but pretty stiff 59's in the rear.
I sometimes think the people on the line just grab springs at random.
