Freedom Top vs. Soft-top

Having both tops is just great. All depends the weather you have an so the top you leave on.

Have been hesitant about putting the soft-top on, because I had nothing to protect the windows with. My old '01 TJ had a lot of scratches on the window - and I didn't want the scratches to come from bad storage... Talked to a guy from Just Jeeps - a Jeep exclusive place in Toronto, and they recommended buying a 4" PVC pipe, get 2 end-caps, and then pick up some felt or other soft material. So... now that that's picked up - just have to put the soft top on...

I do like having the hard-top for security purposes - I think I'll lean towards that option until I buy a 'trunk' for storage.

By the way - did anyone find it ironic that the manual and docs included with the soft-top say you can't have the soft top installed under the hard-top, yet that's how they send it to you? It was fun in the middle of January in the snow taking off the top to take out the packaged soft top (needed the extra storage space)...
