Default Freight Time on New Jeep

I got quoted 3-4 weeks after the jeep is built when I called in to check the status today. Does this seem reasonable? The Jeep is only going to Illinois from Ohio, wit a couple stops along the way I would imagine.

Any real world freight times from folks recently?

It really depends on how many Jeeps are heading your way, probably waiting for a full truckload.

Mine made it from Ohio to NC in a day. I don't think you are going to have to wait on a train, but you may need to wait for truck load. I would say 1 to 2 weeks tops. If it hits 4 weeks, there are not alot of Jeeps heading into your area.

They quoted me the same thing. I live in Grand Rapids MI. Of course I still am waiting for mine to be built. I am in status D-1 as of yesterday and ordered it on March 1.

Hope your wait isn't too long!

Enjoy,
Chris

Makes you wish you could pick it up, right? I am in D-1 as of yesterday also, which didn't change from the week prior. My order was completed end of Feb and confirmed March 2. My estimated completion date is April 14 - when is yours? We should keep in touch to compare notes.

I ordered in the height of jeep backorders (jan 07) and still received my X in less than 5 weeks total. From shipping date to receiving was less than a week from Ohio to the left coast.

I wish I could pick it up. The dealer wouldn't get their $700 destination fee!!
I called the 800 number and was told the ship date of mine was April 2nd. I called the dealer Apr 2. They said it was still in status D and checked with the plant. Apparently they are having a supplier issue for the two front pieces for the hard top and that the plant was to a slow crawl.

OMG.... I remember waiting!!! It's the worst. I agree it does appear to be a long time from build date finish to arrival date. Stay patient and enjoy your Jeep once you get it.

Good luck with your order! Mine doesn't have a hardtop, so we'll see if that holds true....

I got an update today. It is in KZL status, which means it is done, waiting for shipping.

Also, got more good news - it is supposed to be to the dealer around 4/30, which is better than the 3-4 weeks that they said before.

Well, when I called the dealer Monday, he said that he would try to put it on the 'hot list'. I said, sure that would be great, but didn't expect a miracle. Well, I just got a call today to tell me that it is in and being prepped. 2 DAYS!! Sweet! If only I wasn't in Canada on business... Now I have to wait until Friday, knowing it is waiting there for me.
