Default front seat noise

I know there is a post somewhere out there bout this but can't find a good answer.
I'm not exactly small (235 lbs) But my seat pops, sqeaks and moans when I hit a bump or move around. It's been getting worse over time. Somone mentioned greasing something but didn't specify what.

Anyone having the same problem and have a valid solution. I know if I take it to the stealership they'll say "well, we were unable to re-produce it." and look at me like I have 2 heads.

Thanks

Sorry to get serious, but I've had more than normal amounts of noise from my driver's seat as well and I'm only about 185 lbs. I get it when I move around in the seat. I never bothered to check bolt tightness or possible rubbing areas under the seat though.

I too haven't bothered with the dealer for this one. I figure if it gets worse anytime between now and 36K miles, I'll have it checked out.

I'm 6' 2" 220 and I have found that with the seat all the way back it does squeak as I move or if on bumpy terrain. But if I move it forward just one click there is no noise at all. It is almost like if it is all the way back it is not actually engaged or locked in position. I have not peeked under there to find out what is exactly is going on though.

Yup, I'm only 160-165, and my seat is not all the way back, and I get a creaking/popping noise too. I just assumed it was the bolts not being tight, and should probably check that. But I am always too busy putting new stuff on her to think about safety. I mean as long as the winch works and the lights look like the sun, who cares about safety? But seriously, I'll check mine tonight and see if it is the bolts that hold the seat in place. Everyone has said how tight their bolts are, so I guess I have been convincing myself it is not that, and a normal sound.

Check all the bolts for tightness. If they're tight, check the latching mechanism, to insure it's secure. If it's secure, try spraying a small amount of Mobil 1 synthetic lubricant on the rails, and wipe the excess off the carpet. if that doesn't stop it........................................
Turn the radio up.

Coincidentally I to have had a popping noise and it was annoying me enough to think about starting a post on it today! I'm not sure its the seat for me but maybe...when I go over bumps sometimes I hear like a popping sound in my left ear almost like its coming from that pillar but I guess it could be down below in the seat? I've never heard a squeak or creek just the popping, and I can't say I've heard from the right side or had my wife ever mention it.

When will they figure out we put the ejector seat on the driver side insted of the passenger side

I have mine all the way back on the slides.
I have the back very up right.
I have it very high up.

I don't have any squeeks
5'-11'' and 190lbs

Hard Top owners check the bolts that hold the hard top on as well, found one of mine about 3/8" loose.
