Question Front stabilizer shock leaking?

Hi I have a 2008 Wrangler and the front stabilizer shock is dripping. Have other folks had this issue. I think this is a stabilizer, it goes horizotally across the front between the wheels.

I think a great deal of people have had this same thing happen from all the threads I have read. I have been lucky with mine, as it is still working fine. I would replace it with an aftermarket stabilizer if it was me.

Get rid of the stock one, if it's leaking you probably banged it on a rock. The stock mounting location is retarded. Get Wood's relocation kit, it'll be much safer, and get an aftermarket steering stabilizer.

Will they cover replacement under warranty? Only 6K miles.

yes it is a warranty item. I agree with getting a better one though... they are cheap. My TF HD is much better than stock

get the one from the dealer for free then go get a skyjacker one and then sell your new stock one on ebay. I just put mine on today.

The new stabilizer is easy to put on, just two bolts. The Woods relo kit is also pretty easy, just requires some drilling. I would definitely recommend getting it, becuase you will more than likely damage any aftermarket stabilizer the same way you broke the first if you don't relocate it. jeepswag.com is the website.
