Fuel (station) pump shutoff doesn't work with my JK
I'm not saying that the ESIM is bad on everyones jeep that has this problem but I bet there are others besides mine that are bad or the hose to it. If you look at the description of what it does it definitely controls the gas flow/shut off. Like I said mine was doing it EVERY time I filled up, changed esim and it fixed it for 100% of the time. No way that is a coincidence, no way they fixed all gas nozzles between NC and NJ and even down to GA lol
like i said for 10 bucks it may well be worth a try....i agree that the description fits the issue being had....when mine does do it as it has been lately it is every time all the time every damn station and really sux, but the gas pumps may be to blame as well based on what i said above....perhaps the pumps get new nozzles, issues arise, complaints made, nozzles corrected, no more problem for a while until they upgrade the nozzles again....i have no idea how often those things get upgraded or changed out as they wear out so who knows.....just my experience and also the experience of other vehicles as well apparently and i can't believe all these different makes have their ESIM module going bad unless they are all made in the same warehouse in china and sold to everyone
that being said i did just fill up last night and the nozzle was clearly an older one and it clicked off just fine no spillage, and i was filling up at full blast so who the heck really knows.....i'll try anything to make it stop for only 10 bucks though, not that i'm losing sleep over it but it is annoying....

im on cell. and this thread is the first i came across. please pm me a link if possible. im on the road with limited access to int. mine did not do it until i reading this f"n thread a month later it started. its a 08 lifted 4" and travel from memphis to kc and approx. 10 pumps have done it. whats the fix? thanks guys
Yes they have first of all. I also live in Minnesota and work on the gas pumps in this state. First of all it is a bad nozzel not the jeep. I have never had a problem fueling my jeep. I get my gas at the sameplace everytime so far. If it spills all over the side of your jeep its due to a bad nozzel. And if you happen to get your gas from big H stations here, Its the nozzel. They do not replace them as often as they should. Pm me if you have any ?????s
I'm not buying it. I fill up at the same two stations every week and the jeep started doing this about 2 months ago. My wife's car has no problems at the same station.
My 08 Rubi has also starting doing this within the past couple of months. Same gas stations that I have been going to since I bought the Jeep and they haven't swapped out any nozzles, so I think its related to the Jeep and not the pump. I'd say that I'm overflowing probably 50-75% of the time now.... very frustrating.
I have had this issue a few times, Fellow Jeep owner friend suggested that I give the Jeep a firm Shake before "topping off", Maybe it was time for it to dry but seems to work for me, besides sometimes I can hear a pop of air come out of the tank, allowing me to get more in ^--^
