When you tighen you gas cap, do you let it click 3 times? It must click to finish the tightening process.

The evap canister basically collects the fumes from your fuel tank and then the fumes are sent to the intake of the engine where they are burned up by the engine.

That's because you have been asking about it. Murphy's Law states that any issue you have will stop once you address it, and start back up after you think it's gone away.

You must be right because I thought my gass overfill problem was fixed but it started again.

I had this happen to me this summer after trying many things and parts I took it to the stealership, they replaced a part on the evap and reset the computer- hasn't came back on since and this was in august, cost about $75. Thought all was well for a week or 2 then it started spilling gas every time I fill up- dealer says its not related and wants me to buy a new gas tank I'm still workinh this issue.

Mine was caused intermitantly by an aftermarket locking cap after I put stock one back on no trouble since.
