mine shook like one too!

 

I think that if it was a cracked manifold i would smell it all the time and it would probably smell more like burnt fuel. This is deff. raw fuel that i am smelling. It was there again after sitting about 4 hours.

 

Check your evap canister carfully that's where the fumes are supposed to go. Maybe a hose is cracked or the thing is cracked itself for some reason.

 

I had a fuel line leaking on my manifold on my CJ. Smelled like gas after sitting a while. Run your fingers along some fuel lines and look for wetness. Get a step stool and stick your head in there. That is how I found mine. Just don't use a match for a light source and put out that cigarett before you stick your head in there.

 

at 580 miles i think.. my gf was gettin in and said i smell gas... i did to. looked under neath and saw a leak on pass side just under rear of front door. it was my roll over valve which is white on top corner of tank. took to dealer and they said same thing. replaced it with new tank. QUALITY ENGINEERING!! HAHA
