Default Gas spilling everywhere

I have a 2007 4door and when ever I go to fill my jeep up whenever it's full it doesn't stop on its own until its spilling gas everywhere. Anyone else experiencing this problem and is there a fix?

Midway down the page in the below thread is the TSB. Owners were also sent a letter.

Looks like they usually replace the gas tank. Mine will overflow if I do not back off when it is nearly full. I usually know about how much it is going to take to fill, and just listen for the sound it makes just before full and back off. So used to doing that I will probably never use the TSB.

I already had mine fixed on my 08 with 80k miles and it is doing it again. I have just decided its not worth the time to get it fixed again and to stop it before it gets that full. I have a pretty good idea how many gallons to put in it based on what my gauge reads.

It should be covered for life for that year.

My 07 is going to the dealer tomorrow to fix this problem. Got the letter last month, I don't want to have to "be careful" when filling up at the gas station.

Mine is also a 2007 and I solved the issue by setting the gas pump at minimum flow when refueling. The handle's valve lever has a lock that disengages by itself when the tank is full. That lock has three positions. Set it in the low or medium flow. Takes a bit longer and mine never spilled again.

My 2011 does the same thing. I know when I'm getting full so I just slow down the gas flow a bit.
