could slight flexing of the body and top been the culprit ? maybe there was some sligh difference in the fit after reinstalling and body/ top flex popped it i could see this happening to a side window

I would thing the most likely culprit would be a rogue rock hitting it from another vehicle.

Someone makes a badass replacement panel, it's not glass but it holds rotopax and looks sick
