Default Header Warped, Wind Noise, Leaks.

What can I do myself to help with the wind noise and water leaks on my softtop? Is there a special piece--style of foam I can add inside the track.
I was thinking of using Black Duct Tape OVER the windshield and top for the winter.
Thanks.

Have you taken it to the dealer?

If you want to try yourself, go to Home Depot and get some weatherstripping. Go to town on all the seals.

There are several TSBs for what you are describing if you are under warranty.

new foam crap
new header seals
new metal bar in the plastic header
and on and on.....

The dealer should do these for free, if under warranty.

I think the dealers make it worse. It's just a JK thing. Shame they won't fix the problem.

I have seen that. My dealer said my top is not the VJO code. Whatever that means.

Does anyone know what the VJO code is?

That is probably the sales code for a soft top vehicle. Did yours come with a hard top factory? maybe the dealer switched it.

I think it's just between those build dates which should be on the driver's door sticker. My 09 was covered
