My cheap ass Chinese LEDs work here so far in -20C temps, no flicker, no static, no interference - just turn em on and use. Almost as good as wifes 2014 Q5 TDI Bi-xenon.

Your probably right, I always forget that my WRX has 70% ceramic tint on the front windshield, so its headlights vs the Jeep with stock windshield look about the same. Both of them have 20% tin on the rest of the windows.

I've had Trucklite 7" universal LEDs since 2014 in my JK. They work great, way, way better than stock. Most LED's have plenty of brightness, so it's really about the beam pattern. These have a nice sharp cutoff and they focus pretty far out with kind of an x. Safe for oncoming traffic, conform to DOT standards. The lenses have held up well to winter pass conditions (lots of grit thrown at the front of the vehicle).

They make a heated version now and if you're doing nighttime driving in snow where it could freeze up, it will make a difference. I don't need heated so much where I'm at.
