Well adaisadam is making them and he apparently must of introduced it to the dealership by him and as usual it is not a mopar product like almost everything else and the salesman doesn't know what he is talking about. No surprises here.

I think the 2010 year does come with the Dual Top option, and also Hothead makes a headliner for the Wrangler and now this new company.

Well, if they aren't even amaking the hardtops anymore, its certainly gonna be hard for Jeep to sell all these Wranglers with the dual top option isn't it?

The original Manufacturer of the hard tops bowed out at one point over a financial dispute with Chrysler from what I heard. However, they are still offering hardtops, just from a different manufacturer. Think about it, would be pretty stupid to offer Wranglers with no hard tops for some people...

I showed this thread to Soundcoat company. I gave them Dave (northridge) and all our sponsoring vendors' contact info. my local dealership manager saw my Jeep & ordered a bunch to sell. people can come see my Jeep too.

oh, and please understand: I'm not making these nor am I selling them I was just the guy who asked for them to be made & became the test mule. and I have a big mouth so I'm sharing the info here.

if you do call huntington Jeep, I know Kevin ordered these so ask for him. I have no idea how they are planning to sell/install them. like I said, that's not my thing.

I'm told the MSRP is $279 ($299 for a 4 door).

hopefully Dave was contacted by Soundcoat by now so he can sell them. I know the dealership ordered some to stock. but I really don't want to keep posting any more info since I'm not selling them & I don't want to violate any forum policies. but I'm happy to share my experience with them. I'll feel much better when Dave starts selling them.

Angel, I'm around thurs & friday if you wanna stop by my office & check them out.

By looking at your first post about these headliners, it did give the impression you were involved with its production. If you want to be out of the loop now, after the fact. I would suggest posting Soundcoat's contact info. If they are going to give good customer service, this shouldn't be a issue. Also the only complaint I ever heard about HotHead's headliner was the price was a bit too high. But these guys might be asking for more, ($50. 2-door, $30. 4-door) extra.

The Soundcoat Company is a manufacturer, not a retail store. That's why I put them in touch with our sponsors and some local Jeep dealerships.

Yesterday, soundcoat contacted northridge & other sponsors, as well as 3 local (Long Island) Jeep dealerships. hopefully you can start ordering these from Dave soon.

Also, a fellow JK forum member came to look at my jeep this week & said he was blown away by the superior quality of these over others he had been shopping for.

oh, and the Soundcoat engineer told me yesterday that he did a sound test comparison and said the raw data shows about a 3-4 dB reduction. he said he'll analize the data and do a full report for the sales brochure. I'm sure there's more to it.

Have I mentioned it looks great?
