Heat/sound dampener falling apart
Anyone else having this problem? Not a big deal as i plan on bed lining in the future but still unacceptable. Appears to be only primer underneath so thinking I'm gonna have to peel it all up and rust paint till I can afford to get the bed liner. Going to show to the dealer hope they go good for it.
My jeep is an 08. I took the carpet out just this week and put my rugged ridge floor liners down because of all the water that was pooled under my carpet from all the rain we have had. Besides that I always run my carpets.

Mine is like that. '07, no carpet, 81,000 miles. I haven't had my carpets in the thing for over a year - got tired of vac'ing the carpets clean, SUCH a pain. Just threw all the carpet out 2 weeks ago, got tired of the pieces taking up my shed space lol.
I have that seal peeling in the back a lot, but it's from sliding crates in and out so much. I'll deal with it - I too will be bedlining it relatively soon. That is, relatively soon compared to how long I've had my Jeep, haha.
There is a rust spot where my right heel rests though. I wouldn't be surprised if it's through the tub in a year or so IF I don't line the interior - 'relatively soon'!

Took the jeep into the dealer today and showed them how it was falling apart. I told him I was interested in getting the floor re done in line x and I told him I had already got a price. He said this was a suitable repair but chrysler more than definitely would not cover the cost of bed lining all of my interior but he told me to get a price to get them to just do the front driver side floor plan and that they would probably be able to cover that and then I could pay the difference to get the rest of the Jeep done. Hopefully Chrysler will go good for at least that much.
