Default HELP 2009 Rubicon PROBLEM

Im calling-out any JK owners that have had problems with their Transmission/ Transfercases on 4 door auto wrangler rubicons.

On monday, I was driving down PCH in Laguna when all of a sudden I heard the most terrlible sound......It was my gears grlinding.

I got out to inspect the noise and sure enough it was my gear train.
From there the service dlirectors at the dealership advised me that my transfercase was shot.

can anyone tell me WHY the F&@k a 9 month 2009 Rubi with only 24k miles HAS TRANSFER CASE ISSUES.

Because it's a Jeep!

Kidding (sort of). At least you're well under warranty. Take it back, get it fixed, and roll on. Must have been made on a Monday or Friday.

Had a similar situation. My tranny crapped out with 400 miles on it. Then I ate the rf u joint 200 miles later before ever having it off road. i was one of those guys that bought a new JK Rubi and was never going to mod it or take it off road. Boy that didn't last long....

No, Bought it brand new.......

had to fight tooth and nail just so Chrysler would honor my extended service contract,
apparently Chrysler doesnt give a f**k about their customers, or the hardships their customers endure due to their defective piece of sh*t vehicles....

they even had the balls to suggested that it was my fault...that there was a possibility I had the transfercase in 4Lo while driving on the highway....

The dealer still doesnt even know when exactly the replacement transfercase will come in....they say it "should" be 3-5 days......and its priority shipped.....you would think there is tracking info for that kind of crap.

and on top pf that, they say it might not even be the transfercase...that it is possibly the tranny, but they wont know for sure unless they try the transfercase first.
what a joke....

It must be part of the chryster training program to PISS OFF your customers. I have had an oil leak from the day I bought my jeep and all I get is the run around.

No matter what brand of vehicle you buy, there are going to some that are total pieces of shit. Sorry you got one of the bad one's. Hopefully you will get it fixed and be on your way.

Get rid of that POS since it so aweful. You don't owe them anything and nobody is forcing you to own one.

Some things aren't explainable without knowing exactly what the vehicle has gone through. But to jump ship with the
first problem is a little extreme. I understand you're upset, I would be too. Some dealerships are hard to work with, while others are great. Sorry you're having issues though.
