Default HELP!!! Check engine light P1404

I got these strange vibrations from the gas pedal while driving in the last couple of weeks (mostly when I try to maintain the speed) until I pressed down the gas pedal down and it'll go away.

Until today, the check engine light came on with the code P1404. You guys know if the EGR are the culprit or something else as well? Is my JK is dying?

I've had this It was the EGR valve... The dealership replaced it under emissions warranty (8yrs 100kmi I think) and told me to buy better gas...

I asked what was better than Chevron and they said Conoco... LOL don't know where that came from. No probs since

How many miles do you have though? mine did it at like 44k?

I don't recall any vibration, I think mine just threw a code and sorta idled rough, but drove fine.

I wonder if yours is trying to go into limp mode or something?

Oh the gas comment had to be crap, the EGR recirculates already burned gasses, so if it was "bad" gas I would assume something else would have been effected.

"Bad gas"=Code for We don't know why it failed, maybe the part was made on a Monday

It's 66k now, not sure if it's still under the emission warranty (Massachusetts).
Sorry I'm pretty bad at explaining, it feels like vibration/hesitation to accelerate until I stepped on the gas and it's smooth again. Yes, now I'm idling pretty rough compare to before.

If the egr valve is sticking open it will make it idle rough.

I guess it could effect cruising under light load. Are you Auto or Manual?

Auto.

Started up the Jeep this morning to bring it to dealer and the check engine light are gone.. ?? WTH. Idling are no longer a problem but the hesitation acceleration/vibration still there. Anyone else have similar problem?
