Just checked for codes, have 4.

B162B left low beam control circuit low

B162F right low beam control circuit low

B1637 right high beam control circuit low

B1633 left high beam control circuit low

Sounds like a trip to the dealer. Just past my 36,000 mile mark for warranty. (37,200)

Took it to the dealer on 6-14-12. The tech said he lifted the TIPM up and checked connections and the lights started working normal. Said he did not want to replace the TIPM because it's expensive. Charged $99.95

I've checked the lights everyday and they have been working, until today. Same problem as OP.

He said if it does it again, the TIPM will need replacing.

What are your thoughts?

1) should be a waranteed part, so why is he charging you?

2) He should have at least ordered the new TIMP, because last I heard they are on major back order.

Thank for responding

It has 39,000 miles on it. Thought my 3/36 was up? Powertrain is still under warranty.

Is it still under warranty? If so, could you tell or direct me how I could find out that my electrical or TIPM is still covered?
