Default Help identifying this

2008 JKU stock. Started smoking from the passenger side then the check engine light came on. Got home and it leaked, I am pretty sure its coolant, that's the only low fluid and taste. Looking and the below part was covered in what ever it was.

Location
Passenger side under the transmission dipstick. It's cylindrical with a connector on top and a metal hose on the side by the bottom.

PS.. when I pull codes the only thing I have is low O2 voltage, normal with the engine off, and no permanent codes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Figure out where the coolant is leaking. You may have a blown gasket. If you didn't use a code reader (not the built-in feature), do so and find out what code was being reported.
