Help a newb out - what are these straps for?

Help a newb out - what are these straps for?
These straps came in the bag with the grab handles and soft top tie downs from the factory with no instructions on what they were for. They're closed loops that look like they should snap onto something. Any ideas?

How do you hold the rear window up with these when its rolled? I've seen it one time on the high way but never got a good look. Do you have pics or anybody?

I have never personally done it, I bought the clover patch window roll a week after I bought mine. I do believe that you would have to partially unzip both sides and roll the window up and then just slide these around either end of the window.

Just snap them on first. Then you unzip both sides of the window, roll it up and stretch the loops over the rolled up ends. Just be warned that rolling the window up will scratch the window. Not bad but you will notice it.
