Help--Roadside Emergency
Jeep won't start. Dash lights intermittent do not come on, but battery good (8 month old Optima). Headlights and auxiliary lights and interior lights and all other electrical seems okay when dash lights out. Suggestions or ideas needed ASAP.
EDIT: THIS IS NO LONGER A ROADSIDE EMERGENCY--I'M BACK HOME AND THE JEEP IS NOW AT A FRIEND'S HOME NEAR WHERE I GOT STUCK. BUT, IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM, PLEASE CHIME IN. THANKS TO ALL WHO DID TRY TO HELP ME OUT!!!

Since you are on your phone I will read up a bit, and let you know if there is an "easy" solution.
Oh.... I read somewhere where someone had to "punch" their steering wheel when something like this happened.
