No. It's completely different from a normal soft top. It's meant to run as a safari top with the windows out. If you want a traditional soft top that folds down, you want to look at the bestop super top option, not the trektop.

If this helps
I made a few jeep videos including a how to soft top video
http://youtu.be/2yHBIDqw4w4 Right now I have a friend looking
Rule of thumb expect to paying 500 to 800
Craigslist has tons of people selling never used complete kits along with eBay and even here.
Good luck

Great thanks so much for the info guys. Love the video. I have a hardtop. Ive only taken it off once. Its in great shape. I want to sell it and use the money to buy a soft top (or trade for a soft top). But couldn't seem to find a cheap enough soft top! Ill check ebay. Craigslist locally didnt have any

I for one like the Quadratec "QuadraTop Bimini Plus Top". In their most recent magazine, they had a special where you could get the Bimini Top, Windshield Channel, Windstopper, and Tonno Cover for $229.99. I thought it was a pretty good deal considering all the things that are included, and I believe it provides just enough feel of "the open road", while still providing enough cover from wind/sun.
