Default Help with Spiderweb top

I just bought a Spiderweb top and I am having a difficult time putting it up. This thing didn't come with instructions. there is a video but it doesn't show very much. I have a 2010 2Dr and the top is model number JK-2D. Does anyone here have pictures with the top on their 2010 Jeep? The pictures on the website doesn't show closeups and also I think the Jeep is an older model than mine. Thanks

sorry I have a 4 door
but I wouldn't think the year would make a difference on these tops.
I know others had issues, and they called the guy and he walked them thru the install
good reports on his customer service

I have the SpiderWeb ShadeTop on my '09 2-door. It should be oriented so that the "SpiderWeb" label is in the back, advertising for them when looking at your Jeep from behind. I fold the back end up though, because otherwise it's right on the head of the back seat passengers.

Take a look at the pictures and video on allthingsjeep-dot-com.

Although the shade didn't come with any instructions I didn't find it too hard, although I have a 4 door. The best I can tell you is to make sure the SpiderWeb label is in the back, then start with the front middle bungee, then do the back corners and then continue along the sides until it is all done. I had to do some adjusting during the install to the top, just to make sure it was sitting right, and once I got all of the bungees on it looks great.
Here is a YouTube video that shows the install on the JK2 door, I believe, http://goo.gl/Hnlj.

Seems there are several videos of girls putting on this SpiderWeb ShadeTop. If you can't figure it out from these videos, well at least you should have a pretty good idea what cleavage looks like.

No, none of them come with instructions. Easiest way to tell you, is to take the three Short SpiderBalls (Bungee Balls...), and hook them to the three Footman Loops up front on the Windshield. Next, take the two Long SpiderBalls (2 of them are a bit longer than the remaining SpiderBalls...), place them in the back two Grommets at the rear corners. Wrap them around your rear Roll Bar, and underneath the Rear Seat Seatbelt Hangers. This will keep the rear part of the top from sliding up. Lastly, just wrap the remaining SpiderBalls around the Roll Bars, on the left and right side of the Jeep.

To Re-Latch your Soft Top or Hard Top Windshield Clamps, you'll have to disconnect the two Small SpiderBalls on the Left and Right Footman Loops. Leave the Center Loop attached. The Soft Top/Hard Top will fit over the SpiderWeb, without having to remove it.

FYI, I slide the cord into the Grommet Hole from the bottom, so the SpiderBall is on the bottom of the screen. I then wrap the Cord around the Roll Bar or Footman Loops, and snap it over the SpiderBalls Head.

Hope this helps!

Cheers!
