Puller? BFH? My pulley on my 07 easily unbolted.

I wish I was that lucky! Mine was pretty well bonded on.

75% of the time I put into the job was probably spent getting the pulley free without destroying it, and putting a spring loaded hose clamp back in place. It really shouldn't have been that hard...

Not sure if it mattered either, but I did the job at about 110K miles.

It's not terribly hard.

Guys thanks for all the help.. I was finally able to tackle down the pump last night.. no more leak.. Was such an easy job.. The only problem I had was the dain plug in the radiator not drainning any coolant.. So I just made the mess and took the pump out with all the coolant in the engine still... Now im jeep beach ready

I heard that the radiator drain plugs are unreliable... When I did my pump, I ended up pulling the lower hose off the engine block to drain the coolant.

I just changed mine after 162k miles and my warranty covered the price of the waterpump. My JK is 2008

Go to dealer and ask them.

I have a 08' JKU, waterpump has slow leak, called the 1-800-992-1997 number and they told me that my warranty was void because I didnt bring my Jeep in for the 5 yr inspection!!

Default sux

That sucks but they are right - every 5 years you must bring your 2008 Jeep in for an inspection at a dealer.

Glad you were able to get it fixed without too much issue. I just did mine this past summer. Stupid me used just the gasket and no rtv....needless to say as soon as I was done and cranked it the antifreeze started weeping from the gasket.. Used the orange rtv the second time and it's been going strong without a drip..
