2010 JKU:

Well, all of those nuts and bolts, screws, etc... I put "safely" in a ziplock and in my kitchen junk drawer over the winter, well weren't so safe. All of the hardware that I took off when removing the soft top in favor of the hard top is now gone. Jeep service is no help and told me there is no "kit" made any longer that contains all of the hardware I need to put on softop. I need to tell them what I am missing and "they will see if they have it". Well, I don't know whats missing, b/c it is all missing.

Anyone happen to have gone thru similar have a "list" of what I need, or any other thoughts/suggestions on how to easily get past this?

Well it is a "junk" drawer.

Search youtube for jeep jk soft top install. You will get to see all the parts that are needed.

From memory you need:

1. Door surrounds(2) (which I am sure were not in the junk drawer)
2. Door surround attachment knobs(4?)
3. Roll bar brackets(2) (if you removed them)
4. Roll bar bracket bolts(4) (again, if you removed them)
5. Soft top bow to roll bar bracket attachment bolts and nuts (4?) washers?
6, Tailgate bar (again not in the junk drawer)
7. Tailgate bar snap on brackets(2)

That's all I can think of.

Check eBay. You'll need 4 rollbar mounting screws, 6 door surround knobs (4 long 2 short), and 2 tailgate bar retainer clips. That's all the hardware necessary to install a soft top.

I have the supertop nx which only uses 4 door surround knobs which is why I put the question mark. I thought the stock top was different. The supertop doesn't need bow attachment bolts either. It has quick releases that stay attached to the bows.

Mopar part numbers are listed so you can buy them from your dealership, but I know most Jeep vendor's have the parts for sale too.

I used this when I purchased a used soft top for my JK when mine only came with the hard top. This helped me make sure I had all the parts I needed and the few that were missing I was able to buy new quickly.

Thanks all! Are the tail gate bar retainer clips just 2 rubber or plastic looking "U's" if so, i have those and then it just seems i need 10 screws/knobs?
