Default hesitation after upshifting fix?

2011 two door, six speed man, 12xxx miles. Ive noticed it from time to time, but when up upshifting and you let off the clutch and hit the throttle engine will hesitate and stutter for a second or two. no check eng light. It does it mostly going up to fourth and sixth, noticable in third and fifth as well. Also if you coast for a bit and get into back into the throttle will do it (never let rpms drop below 1100-1200 before hitting throttle again). Unable to get engine to act up on a downshift. Was wondering if anyone alse had had this prob or something like it before I call the dealer.

Yeah... I'm kinda wondering if its a computer glitch or something of that nature. No other opinions or ideas?

Wow this just happened to me last week. Happened in the morning but by the afternoon it was gone. Thought I was just going crazy but it was exactly as you described. Is yours doing it right now? Might be a good idea to take it to the dealer. I would if mine were doing it now. Definitely let us know what you find out.

See if it does it when you wind it out enough so the rpm is higher when you hit the throttle in the next gear. It may be your rpm is too low to get much acceleration out of it early in the next gear.

I tried shifting higher but would still hesitate. Now its gone. and acting fine. Wondering if rain might be a factor, since it was pouring yesterday...

I have a 2010 and it will do it from time to time. I have tried several times to get it to a dealer, but it stops before I can get there. I usually shift gears around 2500 rpms. When it happens to me, I will wind the gears out to around 4000-4500 rpms. It usually stops after that. It happens once every other month to me.

I have found many times that when it is damp or wet the motor stumbles a bit here and there. In my case it appears to go away once it gets hot.

2011 (12000 mi) same thing happens to me too. Been that way since day 1. dealer could not replicate it so they were no help. I usually do a series of high rev down shiting and it usually goes away after that

My 2011 Rubicon is doing this right now. Sitting in the dealer's waiting room while the mechanic's out driving it. Mine happens after it has a chance to warm up and mostly in 5 & 6 gear. They just told me the clutch had to be replaced for the 2nd time. WTF.
