Hiccups!
#22
I have had it Hiccup once in a while but seems to be smooth after it is warmed up. It has dies three times while stopped (as opposed to the original computer problem when it would die at 70mph...glad that got fixed) And when it has died at a stop it is very hard to get started again almost acting like it has been flooded.

I did think of one Possibility for some of you. You need to check the intake and throttle plate and see if its dirty. This is a common problem and will cause stalls at stop signs and rough idling. Just take the Intake tube off a look inside. If it really dirty get some Thottle Body cleaner. Spray it on a rage push open the throttle plate and wipe it clean. Don't just spray the cleaner in there. I don't like to wash that crud into the engine.

Mine is very smooth about 95% of the time. Every so often she'll have a little rough spot... maybe a 100 RPM shift. So far it's only occured when its cold or I haven't run the Jeep (like a morning startup). However, Im also really sensitive to subtle changes in the Jeep. I grew up with a 81 Camaro that had no really decent gauges and basically you knew everything by the sound it made or the feel it gave off.

Please continue posting any abnormalities with you engine idle and what you are trying to do to correct it. I have changed to iridium plugs, cleaned my throttle body, added fuel injector cleaner and water remover.
Will post results.

Did you try the 3M kit yet? Mine is not here yet. Have an appointment with the dealer on Tuesday.
