I have a question regarding the hood on my JK. It appears that the hood opens all the way and can rest on the wind shield. Can I just rest the hood on the wind shield or should I use something to keep the paint from touching? Thanks in advance.

I open my hood up all the way and rest it in the windshield, but I put a small rag to pad the paing against scratching.

 

It will scratch without a doubt. Use a towel or rag.

Also, if your dealer does any work on your JK, mention this to them. Several members here have had to deal with dealer damage from this.
