That's actually what I did, and it made a massive difference. It's painted silver and I added the hothead liners.

It was 114* in phoenix yesterday when I was driving around, the ac was on level 2.

As much as I'd like to say the Hothead liners are good, I cannot. I even bought the ones with the 3M tape versus the velcro. Full disclosure - Not a newb to applying adhesive based products to vehicle parts. I cleaned prepped appropriately and and even placed 10 lbs (distributed weight) overnight. After 30 days in the Georgia sun, virtually all the panels dropped.

Soo...I purchased the Boom Mats off Quadratec. Now THERE is a solution. The entire panel has adhesive. It sits properly and works very well. I have only had the front part of the cabin on for a week. This weekend is to be 103. I will test even more.

Sorry Hotheads. I gave you a shot...sucks I am out the $$.

If anyone wants a used set of liners, PM me. I'll give you a screamin deal.

JJ

To funny, just replied to your question about this very subject in another post. let us know how it turns out and how like it.

Instead of white I used a Silver Metallic, figure the metal flake would help reflect the heat a bit more.

Default color choice?

I'm thinking of these. I see a lot of people like the graphite color. I have a deep cherry red JKU with black cloth interior. Can't decide what would look best from the swatches online - black, graphite, or dark grey?

Anyone have an opinion? Can't find a section on the website to request swatches...

I too have the deep cherry red and went with the black ones. It accentuates the white top indie. Inside nicely and matches the black interior. They work well here in sunny Florida!
