how can I tell size shocks?
Ok totally stupid question again. I have a 2013 2 door. Bought used. Not a Rubicon. But is lifted and taller than a regular stock Jeep. Has red shicks vs black don't know if that makes a difference. Wanting to replace the shocks. Everything is 1 or 2 to 3 etc. I don't think this is regular suspension but new at this. Everything looks to be stock and un touched. A friend has skyjacker but they say for 2.5 in lift is lowest? Easy way to tell about shocks?

Those are stock Rubicon shocks. Looks like previous owner might have done a budget boost or spacer lift maybe, there may be shock extenders on the top of the shocks. You should be fine getting shocks for between 0-2.5 lift I would imagine.
I appreciate it. Yeah I don't know what the guy did. I have no contact with him but the Jeep doesn't seam to be just a stock jeep. 32" tires ans clearance. Just trying to figure out. Looked at top of shocks and don't seam to be anything added. Cant tell on top of coil. Would it be possible it is a rubicon? What else can I look for. Thanks for the help awesome appreciate it.
Well if you have a locker and sway bar button then its a rubicon haha, if not then its not. Someone might have added rubicon springs and shocks from a 4 door JKUR which would give it some lift on the 2 door and they trimmed the fenders making it look bigger also, more than likely thats what was done.
