Default How do you get the leftover glue from stickers off

I removed all the stickers from the visors on my X and it left alot of glue on them. Does anyone know what will get this junk off without too much elbow grease or melting my visors?

Goo-Gone.

I used Goo-Gone to removed stickers (car, tire, weight info) on the door frame. It worked very well.

Sometimes another piece of strong tape like good quality duct tape, and a hot day will work also.

Wrap the tape into a loop (sticky side out), and dab at the glue residue like you would using the same method to take lint off of your dark suits.

The glue on the tape is stronger than the glue on the plastic visors and with the visor glue being warm, it will sometimes yank it right off like magic.

DSR? Where do you get it. Auto stores? Grocery store?

I'd recommend using Rubbing Alcohol.

I've always used Kingsford charcoal lighter fluid or Naptha for removing glue.
