Default How to get Fresh Air Ventilation with Hard top on & window up?

I have a 2008 Rubicon Limited and now that I have installed the hard top for the winter. Today I found out that I could not bring in the outside cool air through my vents without using the A/C. I tried using the fan only and the heat was killing us.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can circulate the outside air through the stock a/c-heater/fan unit?

What was the outside temp? My old Nissan frontier wouldn't stay cool unless the outside temp was below 50 degrees (daytime and sunny).

Mine will blow cold air when selected.

Maybe your blend door is out of adjustment.

Unfortunately, the blend door mechanism is on the left side of the HVAC. Not easy to get to.

I turn on the air for a minute then turn the A/C button off, it will blow cool air afterwards.

mine is the same way.. after the jeep warms up the air is not cool fro mthe vents unless it is pretty cool outside.. the blend doors are fine.. I just press the A/C button when it gets too warm...

long past are the days of the little levers to pull to get air into the cabin...

You haven't been married long enough. In 40 years you'll need a sweater.

As he said, your blend door needs adjustment. We get cool air through both of ours when it is 70˚ outside.

Jeep has had numerous vent box issues. We have taken both of our in for warranty work. The dealer said they have ongoing problems,
