Default How the heck did this happen?

Today started out as a crappy Saturday. Headed off to the meat market to get some bbq goods even though the weather is getting pretty chilly here. Got some pork steaks, bacon, and chuck for burgers... As we were walking back to the jeep I noticed this. Passenger front.

Anyone have anything similar happen? I have been starring at it for what seems like hours now and cannot figure it out. I only have 1200 on the rig, and haven't even got it off road yet.

I'm sure it can't be repaired. Maybe its a good idea now to get the aev bumper, although I want my airbags... and since parts is not open today, I cant find a replacement bumper cover price.

EDIT: Forget the airbags statement, we've all got that ironed out.

I had these marks on my boat doc bumper. It turned out to be RATS. They like chew like that. could this have happened. Careful were you park, they could eat the whole thing overnight.......

maybe your insurance would cover a steel one to protect from future damage...

that's so wierd!?! A rat eating a bumper? I don't know whether to laugh or seriously consider it. Whatever it is, at least it is on the inside of the bumper, much less noticeable. Good luck finding the cause!

The rodents seem plausable, agreed. Could you have run over something that somehow either got stuck in the treads or wrapped around the tire, that then hit the bumper? I would imagine this would cause a noticible noise.

And those little will get real expensive if you don't get rid of'em. Rewiring isn't cheap.

Cut it down to stock stubby. And put a big mouse trap where the winch goes.
