This is really good to hear, previously I was reading all these people talk about major issues as very common under 100K. I am at 20K on a 2011 and it has been perfect.

Default Sitting at 107k...

Need to do general maintenance this weekend... plugs, wires, Seafoam, oil and fluids. Thing runs like a champ, no oil consumption- and has NEVER left me stranded.

Going from max-perf. Euro and DSM 6 liters to a minimal performance JK had its challenges... Like hearing every knock or clank and running to the stealership for some mythical repair. Its a Jeep.

As far as the things you read on this forum, well they are people searching for answers. They represent either the few plagued by OEM fitment and mass-assembly issues, or the enthusiast who has helped them and now helps other diagnose or at least look out for those same issues.

It is not the sign of a bad vehicle, its the sign of a well informed community.

...I have YET to hear about a bearing fail engine that WASN'T covered int he end. So was it an issue- yes. Was it resolved- yes.

At 70K got a leak in the transfer case, although that probably doesnt count as "major." Tore the front drive shaft boot. Also noticed a serious lack in lift and tire size I finally had to correct.

I'll be rolling over 90k by the end of July.

I've replaced my throwout bearing (not an uncommon wear and tear item - plus I learned stick on this jeep)
Torn boot on driveshaft (self inflicted, I'm sure - 2.5 lift and wheeling disconnected a lot)

I don't consider either of these to be major mechanical - maybe the TOB, but at 90k, it's not an unreasonable thing to replace - so I'll say she's still technically a virgin.
