Default How much time? (driveshaft

As you can see from these pictures it appears im having grease spill out of the boot in the upper and lower joints of the driveshaft.. How big of a problem is this? Is this driveshaft failing after only two weeks of its new lift?

3 1/4 inches.. Jk 2 dr

3 1/4" on a 2-Door is quite a bit of lift and if you haven't already, you should look into getting a new driveshaft. You could continue adding more grease in there with a needle adapter, but your bigger issue is the angle being too steep. That driveshaft is on its way out.

I had the same boot on the front driveshaft fail after a few months with my lift (2 door). Somehow, I got the dealer to replace it under warranty, although I know it will fail again.

Is this driveshaft failing after only two weeks of its new lift?
Obviously.

How big of a problem is this?
It will dry up. Make noise. And then seize. If you happen to be on the freeway at the time, you just lost your tcase and gears as well. So, you can decide just how big of a problem it is to you.

As noted above, that is a decent amount of lift for a 2door. If you don't have adj ca's, you will need a set. I would also suggest that you go with yokes on the new driveshaft, not the stock flanges. (if you go with another stock ds, this will just keep repeating.)
