How problematic is your Jeep?
I had my jeep for 3 days when I opened the hood to show a co worker what the engine compartment looked like. There was power steering fluid slung all over the engine compartment and it stained the hood paint permanantly. The dealership said they won't repaint my hood. They replaced the power steering pump. The second one did the same thing. When I was taking it back for the second time the rear windows' left strut bent completely out and the window wouldn't close. They fixed both but had my Jeep for 3 weeks. In the mean time I was driving a courtesy car they gave me. They actually told me that because I didn't buy my Jeep from them they didn't have to provide me with a courtesey car. I argued and showed them the waranty and they gave me a god awfull 9 yr old cravan. The rear passenger tire blew out on the highway at 50 MPH in a snow storm on my way to take my mother to the airport. There was no tread on the tire. They put me in a dangerous vehicle. Then they tried to make me pay for the repairs because the courtesey car was only to be driven in the local area. The airport is 45 min away. We went to the dealership and raised a $HIT storm on the OWNER! He got me squared away with a rental car from Enterprise paid for by the waranty. That all happened within the first 10 days of ownership!
The next problem I am currently dealing with. The brackets at the base of the windshield that hold it up are rusting arround the bolts. I took it to them (they have a new service manager now) and he said it will get fixed. Well I live in a small podunk town in OK there is only one dealership in town with a paint booth. So he ordered 2 new brackets and sent them of to the GM dealership to be painted. 4 FREAKING MONTHS AGO!!! I went back and asked about them about 1 month in and he told me he had to send them back 3 times because he didn't like the work. I appreciated this and thanked him for looking out for defects in the workmanship. He called me a few weeks later and told me to come in that they had arrived. I went down there and he put them on. Then I did my own quality control check. The paint inside the recessed holes turned right off the metal and curled out like curly fries when he put them on. One was realy bad and I pointed it out. He took the passenger side braket and sent it back to be repainted. About 3 weeks later I noticed that the drivers side bracket was bubbling. I took it back and he told me that they have tried all they can and that I will have to go to a different dealership. The nearest dealership with a paint booth is in OKC 130 miles away! I will be writing a hadwriten letter to CDJ and ask that their 5 star rating be removed.

I thought you arent supposed to shift back into 1st unless stopped? My Mustang didnt let you either, but I never go to 1st unless stopped. I havent picked my Jeep up yet, so I cannot say what kinds of problems I may have (or not have).
I've had my 08' 2 Door X for less then 3 weeks 412 miles and the passenger seat already broke. The seat back adjuster is not locking in and the back just flops around. Just happened last night, very annoying.
Picked up my 2008 Sahara Unlimited on SEP-23-2008 (it'll be two weeks tomorrow). So far:
Fixed:
- Delivered with scratches (dealer's detail shop buffed them out)
Not repaired yet / Waiting for parts:
- Fan / Heater controls shorting out at random times
- Sat. Radio cuts out on some bumps (rarely but bloody annoying when it does)
- Swing gate gasket not really adhered at all
New today:
- Clunk sound from driver's door when hitting larger bumps
- Hard top started to leak rain from the rear wiper motor compartment
- Hard top started leaking onto the sound bar. The passenger side removable panel was filled completely with water. It would've been interesting to see if they would have cracked open when the temperature get below 0 Celsius in the next month or so.
I'm not impressed. From what I've been reading, I'm surprised there's not a class-action suit for the hard/soft top leaks yet.

I have had so many problems I built a website devoted to warning people of the issues I have had. The issues wouldn't really be a big deal if the dealer could fix it, or Jeep corporate would help me.

but only 1400 miles so far.
