I loved having it down. Wife on the other hand crawled onto floor after going about 40. The process was easy I thought. I had mine down a lot times last summer. I think it looks and feels great.
In beginning of summer i removed the two bars attached to window. So with the wind shield up it was still open feeling with out bars. When i would decide to have it down i would remove wiper blades and remove the brackets on each side and down it goes. 10 min maxto lower and put back up. The top still works with this set up too. Going 65 on freeway was a little Nerviness. You cant hear the radio over 25 but its worth it. When I replaced bars for winter It sealed with rain and wind. Not sure if i got lucky but when replacing bolts for bar you can see where they were pretty easy.
It will be down next summer. When it over 90 it feels great. when its 70 its little rough. Talk about conversation starter. Be per paired to talk.
Edit: It solves the floppy hood problem
Edit: When bars are removed with front window up,top up, doors on there is a little gap but not bad. and wife could stand that on a 12
car trip.

Above the front doors is a removeable section of the stock roll bar, approx 3-foot long and wrapped in black covering. In the photos, it's been unbolted and removed.
