I Keep Breaking Axle Shafts!
EASY THROTTLE!!! The aftermarket shafts are a great upgrade. But I would like to know what you are doing to break the stock axles. Only because we wheel the shit out of these things on some hardcore trails as much as anybody and never broken one (yet!). If I ever break one I will def get the aftermarket Chromo up grade.
IGOFSHN- When it cools down, I am going to do Sledgehammer first- see how that goes, then try others there. I live about 25miles from the hammers. Let me know if you want to hook up.

I am going through the same thing did some research jks are not supposed to be lifted 3+" without upgrading the drive shafts to allow for more angle jp magazine has a small write up on this problem it is not specific to which lift kit you have it is specific to being lifted period the jk has a fixed yoke unlike the TJ no one knows what jeep was thinking when they designed it this way but now you have to up grade your drive shaft with a universal style joint. at this time i am trying to get the dealer to pay for the upgrade since it is not operating up to jeep specifications they installed the lift they said it is covered under manufacturers warrantee. read the write up

when you say bumping an obstruction is going to be different than boucing off the same thing think of a good tall curb if you are not able to just go up it with ease you back up a little bit to try it with a "LITTLE" more speed couple mph not 10 -20 save that wheel speed for sand hills

the stock rubi rear shafts are plenty strong for 35's even if you use the skinny pedal
me thinks there might be an issue with the axle
do you have bind??
lots of issues could be at hand here
1. bind in the driveline
2. if you had gears installed, a bad gear install could theoretically cause an axleshaft failure
3. check your axle tubes for stress cracks or visible distorion (meaning if its bent)
id be interested to see some pics of the rear axle and the axle shaft breakage as well
