I Seek Wise Counsel
SubscribeOne more question, in addition to springs and shocks, I have access to some other Rubicon take-off suspension parts reasonably priced. These are off an '08 Rubicon with about 36k miles on them, the same year as my Sahara, which has 56k. Would it benefit me to change out any/all of the following?
Front track bar
Front upper and lower control arms
Rear lower control arms
Front and rear brake lines
Rear drive shaft
Front and rear sway links
Sorry about being a noob but I want to make sure I am not wasting my time and money on something that is primarily a daily driver which I might offroad on easy to moderate trails occasionally. Thanks for any advice you may have.

I have a 2011 JKU Sahara with 6 boys 9 and under. I used the Teraflex leveling kit. Writeups elsewhere with pics of bumper height measurements. For the price and installation ease you can't beat it. No spacers needed unless you use larger than stock tires. I have spacers anyway until I get bigger tires and rims.

I don't believe any of those components are any different on a Rubicon vs. other models. Differences are springs, shocks, lockers, wheels & tires, transfer case.Originally Posted by unl94

I know last reply was a month ago. Curious as to which option you went with and would like to see pics of your rig before and after. I am actually picking up a set of Rubi wheels with 32" BFG M/T and 18/59 springs this weekend from Scoopy Snacks. Really pumped and can't wait. Just need to find Rubi shocks and purchase TF leveling kit.

How much sag? It could just be the fuel tank. Lots of complaints here about that.Originally Posted by DeucesALLin
