Congrats Dad to be!

I recommend that you make use of the carseat inspections that are available. It's easy piece of mind. According to the National Highway Safety Administration site the closest location to Allentown would be:

New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety

Trenton, NJ 08625-0080
Hours: Please visit www.nj.gov/oag/hts/childseats for all current events
Phone: 609-943-4376
Contact: Mr. Frederick Lyle

Enjoy!

Anyone out there had 3 car seats/boosters in the back?

My wife and I are expecting a third this fall. We'll have a 6-year old in a booster, a 3-year old in a forward facing seat, and a new born with a base/carrier thingy. I was planing on the newborn in the middle.

My wife's van will be the main transport so really this would just be if absolutely necessary to take the jeep.

Thanks.

Yup, it will work. It's tight, but they fit. I have my rear-facing infant in the middle, front-facing almost 3yo behind the passenger seat, and 6yo in a booster behind me. Put the front facing seat in first, making sure it's pushed as far towards the door that it will go. Infant seat next, then booster.

Congrats!! I have a 7 month old and that was a concern for me before I ordered my JKU Rubi in September. I wasn't aware that you should use the seat belt when the base is mounted in the middle? My wife and I both have black leather and we bought these protectors at the Baby store that cover the front edge, seat base and up the back so there isn't marks or food or whatever getting on the seats. I have a Graco and used the hooks on the crack of the seat.. It never moves!!

Thanks for the responses. We are going to look into the seat inspection. Also, will put a towel or something under it.

Thanks dcharge74 for the confirmation.

I've asked around before and all I got was "it should work". Obviously I'll need to verify it with my seats on a test drive or something but...

Yay, new jeep for me!

Default Convertible car seat

The infant car seat is suitable for baby with 22 pounds to 35 pounds, I thought the infant car seat for my first baby when he was born, but lately I decided the convertible car seat cause I don`t need to change till he grows to 65 pounds. It`s not hard to choose the car seat for baby, maybe you just need to think about the growth of your little one and decide one for him with high cost-effect. If you need, the article of car seat for infant might do you some help.

For anyone in the SE Michigan area. I have (2) Safety 1st car seats that will fit a 1-5 year old, and (1) Safety 1st reverse direction infant car seat/carrier which can be pulled out of the base and be put into a stroller...got the stroller as well. All free, in good condition and verified to work great in a JKU. Send me a PM if anyone is interested or It's going to Salvation Army. I need to make room in my garage and no longer have a use for them. My kid is 6 now and has graduated to a booster seat.
