Default Installing Hardtop Harness

I might be getting my hands on a hardtop, but my 2010 Rubi is not setup for one. Where can I get the harness? I would like to do it right nad have the washer fluid ability along with defrost and wiper. Any tips? I am sure this has been done several times.

My 2010 only came with a soft top, but the electrical harness and the plugged up hose for the rear washer are both there buried under the carpeting by the roll bar in the rear. Would have figured that's the same on all models, did you dig around back there?

Betting your rig left the factory with the duel top package and the hardtop went to someone else at some point. The wiring harness is not there otherwise. I installed the wiring harness on my 2010 and its very straight forward except for the three wires that run into the underside of the fuse box. I ended up having the dealer do those since they have to flash the computer anyway to make the rear defrost work. Even they had trouble getting those wires right.

You're probably right, the dealer did look at me as if I had 3 heads when I said I did not want a hard top, nor even a dual top, as the hard top for my old TJ is still hanging in my sister's garage in New Hampshire as I had no use for it in New Mexico. So they probably did get a dual top and sell the hardtop separately.
Good luck to the OP getting a dealer to help him out in Germany, if need be.

Have not dug around yet, just noticed that there was not button for the rear defrost like my TJ had. I will dig around in the morning, hopefully it is there would save a ton of work. buying my Jeep overseas, there was no option for a dual top, sucks but it was one or another.
