I treat her well. Take her out on the town all spiffed up. Then to the beach and the mountains. Maybe she is in need of some new jewelry. Have been window shopping for new axles. Maybe it's time

I would've thought someone was stealing my jeep. When I ran to see it and realized it started "on its own" I would've gotten the f*** outta there...
I don't believe in ghosts or anything but that's creepy af.

My alarm has gone off a couple of times when I've tried to remote start mine. 😐

That also has happened to me in the past.. my readings on this subject: Sometimes its confused if the door is locked or not.. on some newer versions of aftermarket alarm, you can cycle the door lock prior to remote starting and it addresses the issue

At least it didn't start up on its own while you were on the 2 week trip. That could have been really bad.

Could it be something as stupid as falling asleep on your key fob and your butt pressed the right combination to start the jeep? Or having some erotic wheeling dream where you subconsciously started it?

I've bumped my fobs enough to lock / unlock / panic alarm my cars before, so starting it wouldn't be a stretch. But only you know what you were dreaming about....

Ok, before I say this let me warn you this is extremely lazy and I am ashamed.
The other morning I got out of my jeep and walked across the parking lot to the door at work. I am always the first one there, the parking lot was empty except my jeep. I went to press the lock button on the key and somehow accidentally pushed the start button and the jeep started. I stopped for a second staring at the jeep in the cold wind. Should I walk all the way back across the lot in the cold wind, or be lazy knowing that it would turn itself off soon. I chose the to let it take care of itself. I was sitting in my office and a contractor that works for maintenance came in and said "you know your jeeps running?". I had to tell him in shame I accidentally turned it on and was too lazy to walk over and turn it off. He looked at me like "it must be tough", he drives a beat up single cab ranger that sometimes doesn't start. I felt like a complete Jack a$$. First world problems.
