Where can I get the ground wire from? Does it have terminal connections already pressed onto it?

Just looking for something I can but and get this done in a hour.

You can pick up a ground cable At any auto parts store. It has the terminals on it.

Or any hardware store that sells parts for riding mowers.

I think it may be 3 or 4 feet in length, enough to run from the (- battery terminal)and then cable tie to cables running across firewall then to alternator bracket

Got it. I'll use some string to get a good measurement thank you.

New here. My girlfriend has a 2007 JK 92000 miles and has the same problem. I've tried everything suggested in this thread and it still won't turn over. Any other ideas before we go to the dealer?

No the dealer is your only choice. Have them look at your WCM and TIPM. I'm exactly where you are but now my door locks went out. I'll let you know what mine was in this post. No start seems common for 07-09

Default Click of Death

So, I got my 2007 about 3 years ago and for the past 2 years I've had this clicking start issue. I've replaced the battery, no fix. I've replaced the starter twice, no fix. I've replaced the ignition switch, no fix. I've replaced the actuator pin, no fix. This has all been over a 2 year period. My current mechanic has suggested I replace the starter .... I got online and typed the same thing in as I always have and today I got lucky and "foo"'s YouTube video popped up and I was able to follow his link here. About 2 hours ago I went and purchased a 2 gauge (really want this to work) ground wire from Walmart at $11.00, ran it from the negative battery terminal to the alternator top post. I cranked my jk around 10 times and no click. Im giving that luck to the newly reconnected battery. I will be reporting back and letting you all know if this works for me. Good luck to all those suffering from jerpes, you are not alone
