Hello, I just got myself a Jeep Wrangler 10th anniversary bumper and I just realized that it actually installs different from the stock bumper.

I already purchased a hitch and I believe I purchased the correct bolts from eBay.

I am just wondering if a tow hitch like this one can be compatible with the anniversary bumper.

Any help would be very appreciated.

The receiver hitch bolts to the rear frame rail not the bumper, so it should work.

 

On the 10A bumper, the receiver is different from the regular one. You need to grind off the nuts on the receiver so the bolts can go through and screw in to the bumper. If you google a receiver for the 10A/Hard Rock vs a regular Wrangler you can see the difference.
