Jeep Wrangler Center Console Tray
Does anyone know where I can purchase the tray that fits into the center console of a Wrangler (fits inside the lockable compartment between the driver and passenger seat)? I went to a dealer for one and they wanted $50!

Im not sure what your intentions are but if you are trying to retro fit it to an 07 it wont work. There is a little lip for it to rest on that the 07s dont have.

Justforjeeps.com has them on line now. They are under the the Jeep wrangler JK Parts section. Less than $30 shipped to my door, ordered one yesterday and they are in stock. Also THEY WILL FIT some 08's If you have an 08 with the tabs (see site for details) they will work just like the 09's. I have an 08 with the tabs with a build date of 06/08. Hope this helps

The one for the 09's fits the 08's without tabs but you have to make a lip for it to set on. I went to lowes and got some of the 1"x5" stick on nonskid tape and put a piece across the front and back and it works great. I thought the tray was going to costs $40 also, but when I went to pick it up the dealer only charged $9.60. It was well worth it to me for the extra storage. I put pens, keys etc in the tray.

Re: Jeep Wrangler Center Console Tray
I also purchased the lower stack panel with the net. After I removed the panel and put the net-equipped panel in it's place, I started looking at how to install the center console tray.
Then it hit me: Use the removed panel
Yes, that panel is the same thickness as the depth of the material I need to hold the tray in place. I'm going to cut a couple of pieces out of that panel and glue (screw?) them into the console and then it'll fit
Once it's done, I'll post how it works/looks.
