Default JK Front Seats

With the exception of fabrics, colors, and mounting brackets, has Jeep changed the form/style of the front seats in the JK since 2007?

The shape and support has been changed a couple times. In 2008 they offered the seat bottoms with a double stitch as opposed to other seats. Basically 07-10 was the same, 11+ they started making changes.

Seat covers will differ but I'd bet anything you can bolt new seats into the old and vice versa. It would be up to you to make the air bag/ occupant safety switches work.

They also moved the seat belt mounting point from the pillar to the actual seat for newer jeeps (11+?)

Default Comfort

For some reason, the seats in my new 2016 feel different--more comfortable than the OEM seats in my '08, which I just sold. It's more than just the age of the old seats!!

Yep, they reshaped the seat and put more foam in there. To me, it doesn't seem like the seat is as flat as the old ones. I'd swap for a set of new ones.

I have a question

What is the stock cloth Rubicon Unlimited seats from a 2016 worth?

Thinking of putting new seats in my Jeep and curious on what the stock seats are worth in perfect shape?

I would be interested in them for the right price and I don't live that far away from you.
