Default JK Hardtop Rear Liftgate Glass

Can someone please post a couple pictures of the liftgate glass shocks? A local tint shop installed tint and not only messed up the tint but reinstalled the shocks incorrectly. I seriously wish I had deep tint glass from the factory!

I have a 2007 - so if you have a 2007-2010 please!

Thanks ... Though those shock mounts look different from mine. They must have changed them after the 2007 MY.

I was hoping to get a clear pic to show how they incorrectly installed them.

Lovely job, eh?

The guy was nice enough when I took it back about making it right, but when I questioned him on the shock being reinstalled incorrectly, he told me it was correct. It hangs into the glass view about 2-3" from the top with the glass closed. Are you freaking kidding me?! I know it wasn't like that before I brought it to them.

I'm supposed to bring it back there next Thursday to have them fix it, but now that I'm looking at it in the sunlight, there are even small bubbles and imperfections on the sides. I'd almost like to just rip all the tint off and call it a day. I'm not very confident they'll be able to fix it to my liking.

Your tint guy needs to find a new hobby. You don't let the brackets twitch like that and bork up the tint

Yeah, I'm not confident he's going to be able to fix it - and on top of that, he told me the bracket WAS reinstalled correctly when I knew d*mn well it wasn't!

I'm probably just going to call him and ask if he'll give me a refund and not bother fixing it.

Then I'll just save up my clams and buy real deep tint windows and put 'em in ma self.
