Default Since you liked the unlock mod how about this one...

Stop the "HONK" when you lock the doors using the fob.

Press and hold the Lock button on the fob for at least 5 seconds, while still holding the lock button press the Panic button and release both. Test operation.

When I first found this, I tried it while reading the instructions out my office window to my JK in the parking lot!

There's a few different remote functions like this. They are all in the manual. There's another one that locks all the doors when in motion.

I like that one!!! I don't like when my jeep is "Honk" or chimes...
Thank you!

If you have more "mods" like that, Share!

do you have one that kill the "Honk" when you use the remote start!?

Default Here are the rest of the ones I found...

Set the locks to auto-lock at 15 mph and auto unlock all when either front door is opened.
Get in the Jeep, insert the key. Cycle the key from insertion position to "on" position 5 times, upon completing the 5th cycle make sure the key ends in the "on" position, press the unlock switch up twice.

Set the locks to auto-lock at 15 mph with NO auto unlock all when either front door is opened.
Get in the Jeep, insert the key. Cycle the key from insertion position to "on" position 5 times, upon completing the 5th cycle make sure the key ends in the "on" position, press the unlock switch up once.

Turn off the lights flash when locking
Press the unlock button on the fob for 4 to 10 seconds. While still holding the unlock button press and hold the lock button. Release both and test.

Just went out and did the all-doors one and it worked like a charm! Then I came in and read about the honk one. Did that one from my couch! Good stuff. The auto-lock one can also be set in the personal settings menu if your Jeep is evic equipped.

This stuff did work. Thanks for saving us the time of thumbing through the manual.

Just did this one, thanks for the tip.

I went in the other direction with the doors unlocking and immediately set it to only the driver side. I view it as a safety issue.
