100mph and it just stopped pulling.
JKL Rubicon with Jet Chip stage 1 and Gibson axle-back exhaust.
How sad is it that the transmission isn't even close to maxxed out when it hits the rev limiter? In 3rd gear even! I think I still had 1500rpm in 3rd gear to the redline, and that's not even counting what it might have been able to do with overdrive.
DC absolutley screwed up the automatic gear ratios. 40mph in 1st gear? 73mph in 2nd gear?
I guess the just pulled the minivan transmission ratios along with the 3.8L.

I don't think I've ever been over 85 or so.

I also am guilty of doing the flat out 100mph. Had a rugby game 4 hours away from where i was and we left late for it. I had 100 miles to go and 1 hour till i needed to be there......So i did 100 and made it on time

Guess you've never walked away from a 200+mph collision, eh?

20 can kill, heck even 5 given the right conditions. Speed has never killed anyone to the best of my memory, but poor training has.

Perhaps. But 100+mph is still not a safe speed, no matter how "trained" you are.

But anyway, I have gotten it up to 140km/h (40 over limit) with no desire to go faster. It's too risky, because in Ontario, if you go 50km/h over, you get fined a couple grand and get your car impounded for a short while. Anyway, it felt stabble, but on really windy days, it's not fun to drive much over 100km/h.

Well I've had mine85+. It seamed very stable just like any other vehicle I have driven at those speeds. I guess the wheel base on the 4 doors make all the difference.

I disagree with you about Crappler screwing up the auto gear ratio. Here is the specs on mine. This is actually better than my 1990 Bronco was in stock configuration.

Gear Ratios 1st 2.84
Gear Ratios 2nd 1.57
Gear Ratios 3rd 1.0
Gear Ratios 4th 0.69
Gear Ratios Reverse 2.21
Axle Ratio 4.10
Overall Top Gear 2.83

Here is what happened to you when you hit 100 mph: Electronic governor and electronically controlled converter clutch
