My 2008 came with it. I think it was to spur sales of the (then) NEW 2007-2008 models. Jeep was good about notifying me to have them do the 50000 inspection, but I wasn't alerted to do the 100000 one - and I lost the program. Oddly enough, I've had no problems until now - Cat related.
